Kelli Coyne
Kelli believes in the power of redemptive stories and seeks projects that display the power of redemption in all walks of life. She is most recently known for her work on award-winning short The Piano Love Affair, internationally-awarded short Camino, and 2x Emmy-winning docuseries Reconnecting Roots. In 2024, she garnered multiple awards for Best Producer, including two Silver Telly awards. Her love of all things logistics and her skill at pulling together a gluten-free, keto-friendly crafty on a budget make her the ultimate production powerhouse.

Gabe McCauley
Gabe is an Emmy-winning filmmaker driven to shape the culture of tomorrow through the power of film. His signature style blends unexpected comedy with grounded, dramatic realism—capturing life’s complexity. As founder of Soul Feather Studios, Gabe has built a creative legacy across genres and formats, from network TV to indie film. He directed nine seasons of national television, including the Emmy-winning docuseries Reconnecting Roots.

Joel McAfee
Comes from Arkansas (the other West Virginia) and currently resides in Bowling Green, KY. Joel and his wife Katie have 3 children, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 free kittens (please use the contact page if you’re interested). Graduating from WKU with a degree in TV & Film Production, Joel produces results and brings brains to the business operations. You’ll recognize Joel by his Arkansas Razorback paraphernalia and his preference of shaving irregularly.

Nick Nichols
Nick hails from Northern California but has an affinity for camouflage like only a proper Southerner should. Nick is the swiss army knife of Soul Feather Studios, the one that includes the toothpic and ball point pen. A camera operator, editor, grip, AC, producer, and quite the proficient drone, gimbal & jib operator. Nick is sought after for his versatility on set and his passion for problem solving.
